Regional Loss Prevention Investigator -
5 Nationwide Positions Available
 

Northern California; Phoenix; Chicago; Boston & Miami

The Regional Loss Prevention Investigator is responsible for analyzing internal & external theft trends in assigned market and to develop strategies to identify and resolve theft cases. The Regional Loss Prevention Investigator will work with the Investigative Risk and Fraud Analyst in the identification of internal theft cases, and ensure that all cases are brought to a successful resolution.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Investigates and brings to resolution theft investigations involving dishonest employees in assigned market.

  • Measures productivity of investigations team and identifies enhancements to increase productivity.

  • Visits store locations in assigned market to ensure operational processes are in place and promotes Loss Prevention Awareness.

  • Works with local law enforcement to develop partnerships between National Stores, Inc and various agencies.

  • Reviews data and analyzes POS exception reports to detect theft and behaviors that contribute to shrink.

  • Partners with Regional team to identify, research, develop and close internal and external theft cases.

  • Creates case files and ensures all internal & external cases are properly inputted into LPMS in a timely manner.

  • Must keep a working knowledge of company policy and procedures.

  • Conducts live surveillances as needed.

  • Communicates concerns or issues identified at store level with the respective Field Loss Prevention Team.

  • Reviews remote video for various incidents as they occur.

  • Miscellaneous duties as assigned by the Regional LP Manager.


Required Skills:

  • 3 to 5 years Loss Prevention experience

  • Experienced in conducting dishonest employee interviews

  • Exception reporting, CCTV Equipment, Covert Camera Installation

  • Wicklander certification required

  • Must be an effective leader with proven ability to build and align high performance teams

  • Excellent communication skills, written, oral and reading

  • Working knowledge of law enforcement

  • Strong analytical and time management skills

  • Able to maintain confidentiality concerning projects and assignments

  • Knowledge of retail operations, Loss Prevention, Investigations and shrink reduction programs

  • Ability to proactively and independently analyze historical data, theft trends and exceptions
