The Loss Prevention Specialist has thorough knowledge of Ascena Retail Group, Inc. security, life safety, and operational procedures. Performs duties as a floor officer and acts as a deterrent to theft and providing life safety.

• Checks employee ID badges to control facility egress and logs visitors/contractors. Monitors facility CCTV, fire/unauthorized access, and access control systems. Answers and transfers internal/external phone calls as part of Front Desk procedures

• Conducts daily and monthly audits and facility inspections (i.e. outbound audits, compliance audits, safety/security checklists, etc.). Under direction, responsible for initiating internal/external investigations based on daily inspections findings and/or information received from other sources/information

• Secures facility during non-operational hours

• Provides after-hours security/surveillance (walk and/or monitor associates to their auto, etc.) to associates in times of need.

• Responsible for creating incident/injury reports and acts as first responder by administering first aid in times of need

• Tracking and monitoring all damaged, pilfered carton reports

• Performs other administrative duties as needed by LP Management

Qualifications:
 

• Minimum of 6 months experience in LP or security preferred

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Self-motivated; must be able to work with little or no supervision

• Must be flexible to work any hours required

• First Aid, CPR, AED certification preferred (certification will be required during employment)

• Possess some computer skills (i.e. Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook)
