Distribution Center Loss Prevention Manager
Redlands, CA

Position Purpose:
Under the supervision of the Director of Loss Prevention, the Distribution Center Loss Prevention Manager implements and enforces measures to ensure safety, security and prevent loss within all Distribution Center facilities.

Typical Duties:

  • Maintain communication with Corporate Loss Prevention to determine the departmental direction.

  • Supervise all Loss Prevention and security personnel including leads, auditors and contract guards.

  • Develop and monitor compliance measures for staff performance.

  • Conduct security interviews for all new DC applicants.

  • Ensure that all required weekly/monthly reports are prepared and submitted to Corporate and DC management. Prepare and submit other reports as requested.

  • Investigate physical inventory irregularities for store audits.

  • Analyze and enforce company policy and procedure. Introduce and recommend changes or new policies as appropriate.

  • Investigate incidents of loss, internal theft and other business abuse.

  • Act as law enforcement liaison for all matters involving law enforcement agencies.

  • Maintain and control all keys and key systems for the DC.

  • Enforce all physical security policies including bag checks, locker inspections, visitor control, etc.

  • Ensure all physical security apparatus are functioning properly (electronic gates, doors, radios, pad locks, etc.).

  • Ensure that all electronic security systems and related components (alarms, CCTV, access control, video badging) are functioning as designed.

  • Respond to all emergencies (bomb threats, fire, accidents, etc.) as needed.

  • Ensure that all alarms (burg & fire) are responded to quickly and appropriately.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Experience Necessary:

  • 3 years of previous Loss Prevention experience and exposure to a fast-paced distribution center environment.

Education/ Skills Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

  • Detail oriented and able to maintain a high level of confidentiality.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with confidence.


  • Ability to work any shift

  • Lift up to 30 pounds

  • Constant standing, walking or sitting depending on the task at hand.
